BUSINESS OF COACHING DETAILS

Presenter:  Mark Silver

Topic:  The Sacred Moment of the Sale. How to Talk to Potential Clients With Integrity and Heart and Still Get Paid.

Description: Why are so few people saying ‘Yes, how do I pay?’ The conversation that happens with potential clients is where the rubber meets the road: either someone becomes a client (and you get paid) or they don’t (and you don’t.). Yet what you do is so sacred, how in the heck can you really ’sell’ it to them, without feeling weird or creepy?  In The Sacred Moment of the Sales Conversation we will cover the foundations and key points of the sales conversation from the perspective of honoring the sacred in you and in your client, without looking like some spiritual nutcase.

   • Understand your resonant price, so you can trust it, and your clients feel good about it.

• How and when to shift the conversation so you don't stutter over "so... you want to hire me?"
   • How to identify and care for your own neediness, so you don’t feel like you’re on the hunt, and ruin the conversation before you begin.

The hundreds of clients who have experienced this perspective on sales have called it deeply healing, transformational, and incredibly effective.

Bio: Mark Silver is a fourth generation entrepreneur and a designated spiritual teacher in his Sufi lineage. His company, Heart of Business, has helped thousands of small business owners globally to find the spiritual heart in the nitty-gritty practical bits of getting a business going.

ART OF COACHING DETAILS

Presenter:  Dorothy Tannahill-Moran

Topic:   Introducing the ChangeWorks Coaching Tool.

Description: Dorothy will introduce a tool to the NWCA that she has found particularly useful in both securing new coaching clients and expanding her toolkit with existing clients. While this tool is fairly new commercially (about 2 years), the founder and developer, T Falcon Napier, used it successfully in his business for 25 years.

We all know that change can be challenging.  This tool and the training for the “ChangeGrid” help both the coach and the client identify what is going on and what will help move the client forward productively. This tool measures a person’s likelihood to make change on the topic area of interest.  The product she will introduce is from ChangeWorks and is an online customizable assessment tool.  In this interactive program you will:

• Find out why the statement “people resist change” is a myth.
   • Learn the primary reason why people change.

• Complete your own personal ChangeGrid profile.

The ChangeGrid will be customized for the coaching profession allowing the audience to learn the content at a deeper level and gain insight into their own business at the same time.  Each person will not only walk away with a better understanding of change, but of themselves.

Bio: Dorothy Tannahill-Moran is a certified life coach and owner of Next Chapter: New Life Coaching.  Prior to coaching, Dorothy served as an operational manager for 21 years at Intel.  It was this work experience along with additional classes that enabled her to become an expert on organizational and personal change.  Her coaching focuses on educating people on the change process which in turn fosters change in the client’s life, particularly major life events.
