BUSINESS OF COACHING DETAILS
Presenter: Sheryl Eldene, ACC
Topic: Four Business Models for Coaches
Description: This panel style presentation will focus on four business models that are available to coaches to create their businesses. We will look at the independent practitioner, the independent contract coach, the coaching franchise, and the network coaching model. For each model, we will review: 1) Marketing; 2) Training available; 3) System materials (intakes, assessments, etc.); 4) Admin and marketing systems; 5)Costs (start-up & on-going); and 6) Earning Potential. Attendees will walk away with a clearer understanding of each busines model, the strengths and weaknesses of each, as well as personal contacts with people who are active in each model.
Bio: Sheryl began her business in the mid '90's after a 20 year corporate career. In that field, she was an in-house consultant for Nike, Jantzen, and Oregon Mutual Insurance. She also consulted through the Small Business Administartion with small owner-operator businesses, helping them create business processes and technology solutions to enhance their growth and success.
